a french margarita

unnamed

Apparently February 22nd is National Margarita Day. I had no idea that such a day existed, but I’m a huge marg fan, so I’ll take it! We spent last weekend in Santa Barbara and there was a margarita on the menu at the Bacara Hotel that included thyme in the ingredient list – doesn’t that sounds interesting? I’m really wishing I had tried it! I’ll figure out a way to recreate it and will let you know how it is. I have an equally amazing sounding margarita recipe for you today – a fresh sounding twist on the classic in the form of the French Margarita from the bartender at Riviera 31 in Beverly Hills.

Have a great weekend, whether you imbibe in a margarita (or two) or not!

2oz tequila

1oz grand marnier

3/4oz lime juice

2oz blood orange juice

1/2oz agave syrup
