Amy and I took these pictures at one of my absolute favorite restaurants in LA, Gjusta. We popped in for lunch a few weeks ago and ended up ordering a ton of things; flatbreads, a sandwich, a croissant, a baguette – and it was hard to stop with just that! Everything there looks, and is, fresh and delicious and amazing. I find that you can judge a place pretty fairly based on how good their bread is; it seems like such a simple thing but good bread takes a meal from ‘meh’ to amazing, and they have got theirs down pat. I meant to bring the baguette in my purse home to have for the weekend but only about a quarter of it (maybe less) actually made it. Oops.
In these photos I’m wearing this comfy dress from Joie, which I really love and actually have in the grey/oatmeal version as well. It’s so easy to wear and is perfect for both LA ‘winter’ with bare legs or worn with tights and boots in places it actually gets cold. As a bonus it’s seriously marked down right now – I’m tempted to also buy it in black, but I’m going to try my best to refrain since there are so many cute Spring things out there right now that I’d rather spend my money on. Have a good day!
