Ruffian’s show on Saturday morning was full of beautifully structured clothes, gorgeous color combinations and a nod to Victorian style. One of my favorite aspects of this collection is that Ruffian took basics and did them in unexpected prints and fabrics; the metallic sweatpants in the second image and the brocade suit in the fourth would be so fun to own. Though the looks that I chose above are fun and relatively wearable, a lot of the collection seemed like it would be a little hard to pull off – lots of long, dark dresses and skirts and extremely voluminous silhouettes. Their Spring 14 collection was more playful and a lot more my style, but overall I quite liked the entirety of the FW 14. Check out the rest of the looks here, and let me know your thoughts!
