These Boots are Made for Walking

over the knee boots fashion blogframe denim jeans / stuart weitzman boots / jenni kayne blazer / old sweater / linea pelle purse (sold out, but this is similar and only $32!)

I had to push myself to buy these boots last winter, and I’m sure glad that I did. I thought that over the knee boots would be kind of hard to pull off, but they’re surprisingly wearable and definitely work even if you’re not exactly Giselle (I’m 5’4). They’re also comfy – I just got back from NYC late last night where I wore these boots every single day, even walking 25,000 steps in them one day. Do you track your steps on your iPhone, too? I’m a bit obsessed with it – I read something that a trainer once said which is to attempt to get at least 10,000 steps on days you’re not working out. It’s kind of difficult to do, but it’s fun to watch your progress and it forces you to get up during the day and to take the stairs which is always a good thing.

Another thing I love about these boots (it’s sounding a bit like an ad, isn’t it? I promise this isn’t a sponsored post) is that they add a bit of ‘oomph’ to an otherwise pretty basic outfit of jeans and a blazer. I know a few of you have mentioned wanting to buy some OTK boots but are a bit hesitant and I just want to say go for it…I have a feeling you’ll love them as much as I do!

The boots! Love them!! You’re so right about them dressing up an outfit.

Love this outfit! And the boots are amazing. I don’t own any over the knee ones, but I’m a bit obsessed with these. They’d look great with a little dress too.
