Justin and I spent the other morning at the sprawling Paris Flea Market. I’ve been a couple of times in the past, but on this trip I discovered just how enormous it really is. It’s famous for a reason! Some people say that the Saint Ouen market is “over” and too touristy now, and while that is probably relatively true if you go on a Sunday at prime time, I actually found there to be a lot of Parisians there and plenty of good deals to be had.
We unfortunately (or, luckily if you ask Justin) have almost no room left in our suitcases to bring anything back with us so we didn’t buy anything, but there were definitely a few items I was eyeing like a gorgeous oil painting in a gilded frame and an amazing vintage tweed Chanel jacket that was in near-perfect condition. Even though we didn’t bring anything home, it was so fun to look at all of the gorgeous, well curated stuff, get some decor inspiration, and have lunch at Ma Cocotte.
If you have never been before but are planning to go, it can be a little tricky to find the market so this is a really great resource for directions and information. Hope you enjoy the pictures…they made me want to go back already!
