TGIF, you guys! Are you planning to watch the Oscar’s on Sunday, and if so have you seen many of the nominated films? I really loved Brooklyn, and thought that The Big Short was really well done, but I haven’t seen any of the others. We’re heading to New York for a few days tomorrow, so hopefully some of movies will be available on the plane. Here are a few stories and posts that I liked from around the web this week. Have a good day!
–A peek inside designer Jeremy Scott’s colorful home in the Hollywood Hills, with a side of Allesandra Ambrosia in a pretty outfit. One King’s Lane also has a gorgeous tour of a vibrantly colored house, if you’re interested.
-Hosting an Oscar’s viewing party? Look no further than Refinery 29’s compilation of the best award-worthy snack items to have on hand, all found at Trader Joes. Mac n Cheese bites and a glass of champagne does sound pretty good actually!
-Do you also spend a ridiculous amount of time scrolling through the channels or arguing with your husband about what movie to watch, before ultimately settling on re-watching something you’ve seen or just turning the TV (or computer) off? Well then I’m happy to introduce you to Le Cinéma Club, a website that showcases one curated film a week. There are short films, long films, ones you’ve never heard of, and some that you have. I’m definitely going to be giving it a try next time we’re about to turn on yet another Diners, Drive Ins and Dives…
